In 1993, due to the need for window accessories that emerged due to the rapid development of the PVC window sector, it started its production life by manufacturing hinges and handles. By establishing its molding room in 1995, it became a fully equipped mold manufacturing center capable of CAD / CAM-based computer-aided plastic and metal injection mold design in 1997.

The export start years of İmat are 1998-1999. In the following years, it increased its experience in markets demanding quality products. Thus, it expanded its exports to Russia and European countries. Nowadays, it has reached 80% of its export share in its total sales. 6-7 years of experience in export markets has necessitated specializing in certain products, in-depth product detailing, and development instead of superficial product expansion.

For this reason, Imat Aksesuar decided to specialize in window and door handles in 2002. Since the beginning of 2004, it has directed all its investments and energy to arms production and the development of the foundry department. Today, as a result of its efforts, it exports 80% of its products.
