Petlas is a automotive tire manufacturer. Petlas was founded by Petrokimya Holding in 1976 in Kırşehir. The Company’s goal was to eliminate outward dependence for military-purpose tires. It was sold to Kombassan Holding by privatization administration in 1997. In 2005, it is acquired by Abdulkadir Özcan AŞ (Ako Group).

As a result of investments, Petlas managed to become one of the largest tire factories in the world under one roof with its wide product range, reaching 365 thousand square meters of indoor area and a total number of about to 4 thousand in their campus. Petlas, which develops its own tire technology, has made many firsts in Turkey.

Some of them are: Turkey's first and only aircraft tire, First Radial tractor tire, the first 18” above a “Y” speed class high performance passenger tire, the first run-flat passenger tire, tire, solid tires for construction machinery.

Petlas is in service of the Turkish agricultural, industrial, defense and transportation sectors with aircraft, military, agricultural, construction machine, truck, bus, light trade and passenger vehicle tires, including 4 different brands under more than 2,500 different products. Petlas exports its products to more than 100 countries and has a large market share in the sector.
