Buse Öznehir Çakır graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Handicrafts in 2014 as the top student with a GPA of 3.90. She defended and successfully completed his master's thesis titled "Wire Broken Embroidered Products and New Designs in Mengen District of Bolu Province" in the Department of Handicrafts at the same university in 2017. In addition, she completed his second master's degree by submitting her master's thesis titled "A Research on Leather Works in Ankara Ethnography Museum" at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts, in 2019. She is currently a permanent member of Vaketa Çakır Deri Joint Stock Company.

Before the leather business, he worked as company manager in the family business between 2004 and 2014. He left the company by transferring his shares in 2014. While trying to supply leather materials to his wife in 2016, he noticed the gap in the market and decided to supply leather and leather hand tools. He founded Çakır Deri Private Company in 2018 and continued to sell his materials from the shop they opened in Ankara Samanpazarı Güven Çarşısı. In 2020, he industrialized and founded Vaketa Çakır Leather Joint Stock Company to produce leather and hand tools. He continues his sales through his shop, Instagram and website with his staff who love their job. He founded this company because he realized that no company supplied leather and hand tools from a single source throughout Turkiye.
