Koska is a Turkish food and halva producer. Having a rooted experience in the food industry, the company was founded in 1907. Starting with a halva shop in Denizli province of Turkey at the beginning of the 1900s, the company's adventure is still existed today. In the later years of its establishment, the company took its current name when Halil İbrahim Adil Dindar, who continues his father's profession, opened a shop in the Koska district of Istanbul in 1931.
Famous for its halva production, Koska has expanded its product range over time and offers a variety of products to its customers. The production of products such as Turkish delight, jam, and nougat started in later times. Currently, under the management of the fourth generation, Koska continues its activities in its facilities with a closed area of 22.000 m2 located in Istanbul.
Ir order to increase its production capacity, Koska follows the latest technological developments and integrates these new methods into its job and understanding of quality. The company, which has increased all its production machinery and equipment, has product groups such as halva, tahini, molasses, jam, honey, Turkish delight, wafer, croquant, pecans, hazelnut cream with cocoa, and traditional Turkish desserts.
In addition, in its fully equipped and modern laboratory, together with expert food engineers, the company has also started to produce diabetic halva, almond paste, and jam using completely natural sweeteners. Koska, which carries out its production activities with the permission of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Livestock, is one of the few companies that has achieved significant success in the world and Turkish food industry.
Today, Koska products reach a wide audience with all national hypermarkets, supermarkets, and local chain markets. Apart from that, the company not only realizes sales domestically but also exports to 74 countries on 4 continents.
