Divan is a patisserie foods producer company in Turkey. At the Divan Hotel in Elmada in 1956, chocolate connoisseurs met exquisite chocolate, boutique cakes, and desserts. The tastes created by Swiss chef Kunderdt, who moved to Turkey from Huegenin Patisserie to manufacture the Divan Hotel's cakes, chocolates, and desserts, are so popular that Divan's sweets, chocolates, and cakes are starting to circulate. This is how they founded the Divan Patisserie franchises 60 years ago.
In 1964, Erenköy became the second Divan Patisserie location, the first being in Elmada. Divan Patisserie debuts in Bebek ten years later. Taste lovers meet at Moda in 1981 and Sütlüce patisseries in 1984. In 1987, Ankara saw the opening of its first patisserie outside of Istanbul. Eventually, Divan is the pioneer of the luxury chocolate and boutique patisserie concept, representing quality, excellent service, and a culinary tradition with recipes handed down from generation to generation and combined with Turkish taste.
Divan Patisseries' story, which began within the Elmada hotel and subsequently continued as Turkey's first pastry and dessert manufacturing facility in Sütlüce, continues in 2003 with the relocation of its facilities to an 8 thousand square meter closed space in Ümraniye. In January 2015, it will relocate to a new 15,000-square-meter production facility, thereby doubling its production capacity. Besides, they are using high-tech production machinery and the labour of skilled hands to create nearly 170 items that make up the exquisite flavours of Divan. Therefore, they have a daily capacity of 10 tons of chocolate, 5 tons of Turkish delight, 5 tons of bakery items, and 10,000 cakes in our plant.
Divan's success in both the boutique and industrial markets is one of its most notable characteristics. Divan is a brand that has managed to offer the same quality and flavour to its consumers for 60 years. They accomplish this not only with its handmade goods but also with items manufactured in highly hygienic conditions on machines. For hygienic conditions, it can be said that has been upgraded in tandem with the advancement of technology.
Divan Patisseries' distinctive Turkish delights and chocolates are famous across the world. Today, exports are made to well-known retailers in London, America, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Australia, Azerbaijan, France, and Belgium.
