Operating in a closed area of ​​one thousand square meters until 2006, Akar Tekstil is one of the largest ready-made clothing and apparel manufacturers in Turkiye with 3 thousand employees in the production of women's, men's and children's ready-to-wear, and a total production area of ​​200 thousand square meters in İzmir, Manisa and Mardin. 

In addition to sustainable production tools in its investments, Akar Tekstil has increased the number of its employees in the last 2 years, making its biggest investment in people and focusing on employment. Akar Tekstil decided to expand its production areas to different cities in 2018. Furthermore, it contributed to sustainable production with the first and only LEED Certified green factory of the Southeastern Anatolia Region, which it first established in Kula and then realized in Mardin Savur. Akar Tekstil has established a new production network by establishing factories in Manisa and Mardin. Further, it increases its production capacity and efficiency day by day with its sustainability awareness and the power of its R&D Center.
