Aktaş Mermer is a mining company in Turkey.Aktaş Mermer Sanayi ve Ticaret was founded in 1965 as a small workshop in Kemeraltı Bazaar. In 1985, it reached the stage of incorporation and became a limited company with a factory established on a plot of land on Anadolu Street in Izmir.
By the 1990s, the second factory established in Izmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone started to operate under the title of Aktaş marble SAN ve tic and is continuing its operations with marble manufacturing and trade. In the following years, two mine businesses were opened in Bursa Kemalpaşa. They have come to this day by investing in additional buildings and machinery in their factories.
Currently, 65% of its production is exported. The remaining part is marketed domestically. The main export countries are; America, France, Israel, Italy, China, and Germany. The raw materials used are provided by their own resources. It has 2 polishing machines, 2 block cutters, 1 split saw blade, 1 chamfering machine, 5 automatic cross-cutting machines and waste, and water treatment plant
