Bak Ambalaj serves in the packaging industry in Turkey. The company's foundation goes back to 1973. It was established by Enver Bakioğlu. The company started its activities in Izmir with the production of hanging and unprinted paper bags. The company, which renewed its machine park, incorporated a new polyethylene extrusion line and two new wide-width 7-color rotogravure printing lines. These additions were followed by a new 8-color flexo printer, a solvent-free laminating line, and 4 slitting machines in the following years. In 1998, Bak Ambalaj started investments in bread packaging production. Thus, it has expanded its service area and started to dominate a larger area. Bak Ambalaj, which became a world brand with its export activities even in 2000, reached an export level of 13.6 million dollars by exporting 45% of its production in that year. The firm has also won several awards. For instance, it received the TPM excellence award at the ceremony held in Japan in 2009.
