Enver Aga is an egg manufacturer company in Turkey. Enver Aga Agricultural Enterprises has been operating in Menemen Koyundere Cumhuriyet avenue since 1981. Its founder Hüseyin Avni İçil was born in 1949 in İzmir.

Establishment Background

Mr. İçil started his working life at a young age. He first worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant, then as a clerk in a dairy. After then he worked in manufacturing in a perfume production company. Hüseyin Avni İçil started his business life at the age of 17 by selling the colognes he produced at the fair. At last, he decided to make eggs after a program he watched in the military. Consequently, he started production with 1500 chickens in Örnekköy in 1973. He named his farm 'Enver Agha' after his late father. He started to sell the eggs he produced first by bicycle and then with the first pickup truck he bought in 1977. İçil, which used standard factory feed until that date, started to make the feed it needed in its farm in 1978. In 1981, he moved his farm to Koyundere Cumhuriyet avenue in Menemen.

Production

The farm institutionalised and started egg production with 1500 chickens. Meanwhile, it reached a capacity of 45 thousand layer hens and 16 thousand pullets in 1991.  It became a family-run facility, where father, son, and daughter work hand in hand. Besides, it was restructured and overhauled in 2007. The business was institutionalized in 2008. Thus, it became Enver Ağa Tarım İşletmeleri Gıda İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Sti. became a company by taking the title.

Quality Management

The company that keeps up with the sectoral technology developing day by day; deserved ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certificates in 2013.  It has reached the capacity to raise 158,000 chickens and 43 thousand pullets. After the death of our founder Hüseyin Avni İÇİL in 2014, Agricultural Engineers Yasemin İÇİL and Enver İÇİL continued to grow. The company, engaged in wholesale sales until the end of 2014, established its egg packaging facility in 2015 and started to deliver the eggs it produces to the consumers through its service network in the Aegean Region.
