The company, which initially had a small commercial life, was taken over by his children after the death of his father Emrullah Erdoğan in 1974 and continued its activities as "Emrullah Doğan Mahdumları Collective Company". The company, which started producing jam and halva in 1976, strengthened its place in the sector and continued its business life under its current name "Erdoğanlar Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi" in 1999.
