Europen - Glass Profile Company

Europen is a glass profile company. İdris Hatipoğlu, who started the industry with glass trading in 1965, started selling glass imported from America and England in his shop in Eskişehir, as there was no glass factory in Turkey in those years.

Later, with the establishment of the Türkiye Şişecam factory, it became an active glass wholesaler by obtaining the Eskişehir dealership. He expanded this business with the second warehouse he opened in Bursa. He continued with glass wholesale and car glass sales until 1985.

It established Turkey's second double-glazing facility with his son İsmail Hatipoğlu in 1985 when thermal insulation began to gain importance. This marked the beginning of glass industrialism.

Between 1985 and 2000, double glazing of different qualities produced by Hatipoğlu Cam was preferred in the most prestigious and largest projects in Turkey.

In 1995, in parallel with the increasing need for technical construction materials in Turkey, an investment decision was made for door and window profiles and production started in 1997 under the Europen brand.

Production Areas

With Europen's start of production, plate, panel, door, and window production facilities, and in the glass field, refrigerator glass, oven glass, and furniture glass production facilities came into operation.

As of 2020, Europen has become one of the largest industrial organizations in Turkey with 1550 employees and 5 production facilities.
