Formtek Steel was founded in 1994 and operates in the steel forging sector with its long-standing experience. Its factory located in Silivri, Istanbul, manufactures in a total area of ​​7,500 m², 3,500 m² open and 4,000 m² closed. The factory, which includes a mold shop, machining and forging shop, has a wide range of production.

Capacity of Formtek Steel

The company, which has a monthly production capacity of 600 tons, produces parts with dimensions and tolerances ranging from 0.2 kg to 50 kg. These parts are designed for use in the automotive, mining, railway, agricultural and construction sectors and are manufactured to high quality standards. Formtek Steel serves customers from many sectors in Turkey and abroad and successfully continues its collaborations.

Technical Quality

According to customer demands, forged parts are forged, processed and made ready for assembly in Formtek Steel's large and capable machine park and sent to customers. The importance it attaches to quality is evident at every stage of production. Since its establishment, Formtek Steel has adopted the 'first class' mentality and acts in line with the principle of continuous development and follow-up by applying statistical methods and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.). All steps from raw material entry to finished part delivery are kept under control with minimum errors.

Mechanical tests (tensile, hardness, etc.) and 100% Magnetic Particle Crack Control are successfully carried out by Formtek Steel's qualified personnel and engineers. In addition, before the forging process, the temperature of the billet is determined with the help of an optical pyrometer depending on the raw material quality and passes through heating coils.

In this context, the company has ISO/TS: 16949: 2009 and ISO: 9001: 2008 certificates. These certificates show that the quality management systems comply with international standards and aim to provide customer satisfaction at the highest level.
