Şencam is mainly a glass bottle manufacturer company in Turkey. Recep Karakurt founded Şencam as a small workshop in 1972. It began producing glass in Bakırköy, Osmaniye, at its production plant. Recep Karakurt established Şen Glass Industry as a small workshop. It has expanded day by day. Due to increased demand, Şencam relocated to a 1300 m2 production facility in Yenibosna in 1990. It is still facilitating here. Şencam has been successfully carrying out its activities in this place. It began to manufacture more new and higher quality glass after it passed to the leadership of Oğulcan Ercan Karakurt in 2000. The company now has the capability of manufacturing all colours of glass, especially black glass.
