Greyder is a Turkish shoe manufacturer. Greyder was established in Turkey in Çorum province in 1956. First, it was founded as a workshop by İsmail Kavlu. Later, the first Greyder factory was founded in İskilip, Çorum. The second factory was opened in Çorum center to produce two thousand shoes per day. Also, they have an another factory in İzmir. While the former company name was Kavsan Shoe Industry, the company changed its name to Greyder to represent heavy boots after the economic crisis that happened in 1994 in Turkey. Nowadays, Greyder reaches customers from 440 different places, including 21 of them are from different concept shops, 100 of them which is in Turkey. Besides, Greyder sells its products from its website www.greyder.com/ too. Greyder is the first registered shoe brand of Turkey. The company produces two millions pair of shoes per year and it exports its products to many countries like Russia, U.S, Northern Africa, Gulf countries.
About 20% of Greyder's goods are exported. Its factory is located in a 10,000 square meter closed area in Çorum - İskilip in the region of Northern Anatolia and has its head office in Istanbul. Greyder manufactures stylish casual, tracking, sports shoes, and boots for men, women, and children. The targeted production capacity is over 5,000 pairs per day. Grayder attaches importance to having educated and experienced employees and it has adopted customer satisfaction as a principle.
