Kardeş Elektrik is Turkey's leading package switch manufacturer. Unal Brother founded the company in 1963. The firms also continued the operation of Kraus & Naimer as Turkey and the near East Representative until 1968. In the same year, it became a joint-stock company by increasing its activities that turned into production at his factory in Sefaköy.
