Meltem Chemistry is a PET resin manufacturer. It started its activities in 2000. In addition to the plasticizer produced from recycling, which is a first in the world, it has begun to produce DOTP and DOA made from original raw materials. Then, in 2009, it completed its PET Resin facility investment and started its production activities.

The additional investment made in the plasticizer facility in 2011 increased its installed capacity to 50,000 tons/year. Then it started to produce special polymers to meet customer demands. In 2013, it started to invest in rPET resin upon request from its Global customers. R&D studies have been completed at the PET resin facility.

Meltem Chemistry has combined its experience in the recycling industry and R&D studies. Thus, it has achieved a first in the world by producing rPET resin with the chemical depolymerization method from PET bottle wastes that have come into contact with food at a rate of 50%. Today, it continues to grow by continuing its investments.
