Turkish jam and food producer Seğmen began its activities in 1938. The company founded by Seğmen Brothers started its adventure in Ankara. Later, it started to make its name known more frequently in the sector in 1952. Thus, it began to come to the fore with its products over time. Seğmen, who entered the food wholesale business in 1960, distributed important brands. Turkish jam and food producer Seğmen, which started to carry out activities to create its own brand in 1970, established its first factory in Ankara and stepped into production activities. Besides, it attaches importance to continuous development. Thus, Seğmen has not neglected to follow technological innovations at the same time. As of 1980, it has made modern investments. Afterward, it expanded its production area in 2007 and moved to a total of 17.000m2 closed area with its new factory in Ankara Sincan Organized Industrial Zone.
Thanks to its high-quality productions in the food sector, Seğmen is a brand that is used fondly in Turkey today. The company, which has developed itself primarily in the field of jam, produces various types of jam. The firm produces mainly jam, marmalade, honey, halva, hazelnut paste, sesame paste, molasses, molasses with tahini, spices, butter, cheese, Turkish delight, and catering. In addition to these, it continues to increase its production capacity with aseptic fruit sauces and other similar products.
Seğmen, which opened its second factory in 2015 due to increasing demand, produces honey and hazelnut paste in its new factory. Finally, with the third factory it opened in 2017, it expanded its activity speed to full capacity.
