Turmet Micronized Calcite

Turmet is a micronized calcite producer in Turkey. It was established in 1992 and started its operations with its factory in Mahmudiye district of Eskişehir in order to provide industrial raw materials. It continues its production activities in a total area of ​​50,000 m², 15,000 m² of which is closed, with its 65 experienced technical and administrative staff.

Productions of Turmet

Turmet, which was the raw material supplier of many leading manufacturers in the sector with crushing, screening and grinding processes until 2003, has increased its capacity and product diversity with its state-of-the-art equipment in order to serve with micronized products after 2003, and has also increased its production capacity in the micronized field (1µ, 3µ, 5µ and above). ) produces calcite and dolomite.

Turmet processes its high whiteness reserves in calcite (CaCO3) and dolomite (MgCaCO3)2 quarries.

Turmet's natural colored granule products are supplied from our own quarries and from quarries with rich, pure ores.

The products are prepared in the requested grain ranges by going through crushers, secondary crushing and screening stages respectively. The micronized grinding of the products goes through the stages of grinding in ball mills with Spanish technology and classification in separators, and is shipped in the packages requested by the customers. At every stage of production, precise analyzes are made by the quality control unit and product quality is kept under control.

Grain distribution and chemical analyzes of these prepared products are periodically carried out and documented at the Ceramics Research Center affiliated with TÜBİTAK.

Turmet operates with 60% export and 40% domestic sales. With 27 years of experience, today it adds value to both the Turkish economy and the sector by exporting to 18 different countries of the world.
