Metriks is a manufacturer of Gas and Water Fixtures in Turkey. It was established in Istanbul in 2010 with 100% domestic capital. The main field of activity has been determined as the production, import, export and sale of Gas Meters, which are one of the basic products of the Natural Gas sector, in our country. The founding partners, who have more than 25 years of expertise in the gas meter industry, aim to contribute to the creation of a competitive environment based on high quality and affordable prices in the said sector. In addition, the main objectives are to make our country a production base for products that require advanced technology, engineering and production techniques, such as gas meters, to create widespread employment in this field and to train expert personnel.

Brand Story of Metriks

In line with these aims, the company signed a license and cooperation agreement with Metrix SA, a Polish origin company and a member of the APATOR Group with 60 years of gas meter production experience, and in this context, it has the right to use the company's names and brands.

In a very short period of time and by the end of 2012, with the annual sheet metal parts of the UG4-F residential gas meter supplied by the licensor company Apator Metrix SA, the meter was sold to the European Union markets as well as the Turkish market.

Goals

The company, which has determined the quality level demanded by the European markets as its production target, aims to become an important player in the Turkish market in the coming years.

For this purpose, the company increased its capacity to 400,000 units/year and continues its production in the factory building it purchased in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone at the end of 2015, in an open area of 5000 m2 and a closed area of 2000 m2. The product range has been further expanded in parallel with the activity in domestic and foreign markets. Currently, aluminum versions of the G1.6/G2.5 and G4 bellows meters produced and the new product G25 bellows meter of its licensor Apator Metrix company have been included, as well as all kinds of gas meters, calibration machines and high pressure calibration facilities manufactured by the German company Inotech GmbH, of which it continues to represent. continued to be offered to the markets.
