Facilities

Bakkalbaşıoğlu began producing dairy products in 1958 as producing white and tulum cheese made of sheep milk. In 1983, as founding their first facility in Sazlıca town, the firm had a critical point at cheese production in Niğde. The first factory founded in Niğde Organized Industrial Zone with 3500 centiare covered and 9000 centiare total area and machinery for processing 100 tons of milk each day.

After 2001, the firm made some investments to enlarge the capacity to process 150 tons of milk each day. Moreover, Bakkalbaşıoğlu maintained an innovative role in the industry and founded a new facility next to Milk powder and Whey powder production facilities in 2012. Moreover, current productions continued in these plants, which reached around 7000 centiare covered and 18000 centiare total surface areas and capable of processing 400 tons milk in per day.

In their factories with high technology machinery and supervision of production and quality teams, production of different types of cheeses, yoghurt, butter, cream, heavy cream, ayran, pasteurized daily milk, milk powder and whey powder are continued in hygienic conditions punctiliously.

The firm, which has an innovative vision and makes observations for technological developments, acquired some certifications; Plant Approval Certification, TS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate, TS EN ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Certificate and Halal Certificate.
