The Rustic travertine slabs combine beautifully with a country-house style and a country-garden. The palette of exciting shades, ranging from cream beige to brown through beige, gives a uniform final finish once the stone has been laid. The garden tiles can be laid quickly and directly on a bed of noble gravel, and are therefore made for you if you want to install your terrace by yourself! For a united style outside and inside, we also offer Rustic travertine slabs for the interior.
A quintessential country house atmosphere
Are you are looking for the ideal natural stone slabs for your natural garden? And do you want a stone that would be in perfect harmony with a country house style? Then, our Rustic travertine terrace slabs, also called Rustico travertine or aged beige travertine, will be perfect for your outdoor landscaping project! Ranging from beige tones to caramel and nougat tones, the colour scheme of the Rustic travertine slabs even reveals hazelnut nuances!
The fascinating veining and inclusions, as well as its typical travertine holes crossing through the slabs, give it character. Once the floor is laid, the nuances of each natural stone slab harmonize with each other for a sublime final result. The tumbled finish, also known as aged or antique, of the surface, edges, and corners of this Turkish travertine accentuates its rusticity.
Natural stone par excellence
To ensure that Rustic travertine terrace tiles have this very natural appearance, they are not specially selected during manufacture. On the practical side: Since no selection is necessary, this reduces manufacturing costs, savings which we gladly pass on to our customers.
If you are you looking for an outdoor natural stone floor with fewer colour shades than Rustic travertine, our Medium travertine slabs will surely be attractive for your project. If you want more homogeneous natural stone terrace slabs with reduced porosity, our Medium Select travertine is for you.
Quick and easy to install
You can easily lay the Rustic travertine slabs on a bed of fine gravel, next to each other without glueing the slabs together and without filling the joints. A slope of at least 3% must be respected so that the water can drain off without any problem. This laying method is also ideal for all budding DIY enthusiasts who want to install their new outdoor living space themselves.
Rustic for indoors!
For those who wish to perfect this country-house style, we also offer Rustic travertine tiles for the interior floor in our selection of natural stones.
Whether indoors or outdoors, prevent stains appearing! All you have to do is waterproof your natural stone every four years.
Dimensional tolerances: The dimensional tolerances are around + -3 mm (length, width and thickness)
Frost resistance: We guarantee the frost resistance of our stones, which are qualified as “100% frost resistant” if they are laid correctly.
Our products have been subjected to and passed frost resistance tests. This also applies to our travertines (with natural cavities) as well as our slates. The guarantee that our stones are frost resistant is, of course, valid if the installation has been carried out correctly. This means, among other things, the use of a permeable base layer of fine gravel with a sufficient gradient (minimum 3%) and drainage to prevent water from stagnating under the slabs. Also, make sure that expansion joints are installed if necessary.
In addition, acid-based cleaners and snow removal salt should be banned.
Use in the garden: Garden paths and terraces, around the swimming pool
Our natural stone slabs can easily be laid in the garden for a terrace or driveway. They are not, however, suitable for places intended for use by motor vehicles.
Aspect: Bright colour scheme. The typical natural cavities of travertine are visible. Very natural final rendering. Less homogeneous than Medium travertine or Medium select travertine.
Each natural stone is unique. It remains as Nature created it. However, each stone has a different degree of homogeneity in colour and structure. For each of our natural stones, we inform you to help you to recognize if it is very homogeneous or if it has instead a varied play of colours.
